Blade Runner 2049 is a film that really bent my mind in so many ways that I am still unpacking. The story, parallels, turn of events, and overall emotion are one of a kind.
“Ruins of Las Vegas” is a piece that emulates one of my favorite visuals from the film.
Las Vegas is portrayed as a radioactive ghost town, void of everything it is known for today’s world. The absence of activity is appropriate when understanding the city’s purpose within the film.
The character in this piece is experiencing a mirage of what he most desires, driven by the voices in his head.
