yakusha_xo is a collection of 25 monochrome portraits that focus on powerful feelings and emotions unique to each portrait.
inspired by yakusha-e, Japanese woodblock prints of kabuki (a classical form of Japanese dance-drama) actors, particularly those done in the ukiyo-e style popular through the Edo period and into the beginnings of the 20th century.
