If ever asked for one word to describe Australia, it would be “contrasts”. From beautiful pristine white sandy beaches and clear blue waters along the coastline to dark red sand formations deep in the outback. Australia has so many different colours and textures that will never cease to amaze, making it a must for all drone photographers. Pink Lake is just one example of the incredible contrasts that you can find along the coastline of Western Australia. The lake acquires these bright pink colours due to algae present in its' waters.
This image was taken at Hutt Lagoon, Port Gregory, on the west coast of Australia. It was captured early morning (colours of lake are brighter early morning) with a mavic 2 pro at an altitude of 120 metres.
