Thức Tỉnh || Awaken, January 4, 2024. Watercolor painting with wax pencil.
"Thức Tỉnh || Awaken" is a celebration of awakening to the vividness of one's cultural duality. The vivid colors burst forth from the canvas, representing an emergence from the slumber of blending in, proclaiming a proud, blended heritage. Here, the awakening is not just a gentle stir, but a full bloom of consciousness, honoring the rich tapestry that is the Vietnamese-American identity.
