Walking NYC
I often frequent Pier 17, my first time setting out to catch sunset from this location did not disappoint. I arrived early, grabbed an Old Fashioned from a nearby bar with a view so I could keep tabs on the light. Once I noticed the sun start to set it was go-time!
The sky started to erupt with this beautiful orange which complimented the remaining blue so well - it went on for quite some time and I was able to get many beautiful shots. This is one of them.
I wanted to capture the furthest point where the sun was wrapping around the buildings at the end, providing a great backdrop against the silhouettes from others at a nearby location taking in the views.
