Masked was an original smart contract created in collaboration with Async Art. Every layer of the original painting, was divided and owned into separate smart contracts. Each individual layer/smart contract was accessible by the owner, where each owner could change color parameters, where as the main image could change based own each owner. Over the image, is a mask that was linked to John Hopkins university data on Covid-19 statistics. The masked would appear, disappear and reappear according to covid-19 statistics. The mask has now almost completely disappeared, and this work is dedicated in remembrance to the possibilities of the first work of art.
