Abstract Anomalies 2.0

Abstract Anomalies 2.0 began as an exploration of perspective, a search for meaning in reflections most people walk past without noticing. Shot entirely in-camera with a handheld digital camera and macro lens, each image captures light moving across rain-soaked asphalt and textured surfaces. Neon signs, storefronts, and passing cars dissolve into color and motion, creating brief worlds that exist for only a moment before they disappear. As the series evolved, the reflections began to change. They took on presence, as if the light itself was aware of being seen. From that recognition, the Identities of Light emerged—archetypes of perception, each revealing a different form of awareness. These works are not nostalgic or documentary. They are anomalies: abstract and real, born from the spaces most people overlook. They belong on walls. They belong to those who notice. Light remembers what we overlook.
