Flowers [Atmospheric Series]
Flowers [Yellow] — Atmospheric Series
Four computational translations exploring atmospheric corruption
and digital submersion. Each work processes the same sunflower
arrangement through cyan-dominant glitch aesthetics—creating the
sensation of viewing floral forms through layers of digital
interference and distortion.
The heavy scan lines, bubble patterns, and ethereal blue-purple
tonalities transform the subject into something that
feels simultaneously preserved and degrading—like digital artifacts
recovered from corrupted storage.
These works investigate how glitch aesthetics can create
atmospheric depth rather than surface noise. The computational
errors become environmental—suggesting the flowers exist within
rather than despite the digital corruption.
Part of ongoing material translation investigations. 2025.
