Maeng-Practice is an archival NFT project by Maeng (Jeongeun Maeng), documenting a 400-day chronicle of discipline and movement. Rooted in the mission 'Everyday is the Practice (EITP),' this collection archives a focused journey of spiritual accumulation, capturing over a year of daily sweat and dedication. Maeng transforms daily practice into certified art—a performance of endurance centered on the accumulation of time. Each piece captures a fragment of life, from the fluid grace of Korean qigong to the raw emotional flow of piano improvisation, unveiling the body’s evolving memory. She plays with the rhythm of time: compressing several minutes into a single breath to reveal density, and expanding fleeting moments to unveil hidden elegance. Every piece stands as a complete, meaningful record of showing up every day. Over time, these individual fragments are synthesized into 100-day mosaics and culminate in a dynamic, 400-piece simulation artwork driven by randomized animations.
