Vibeke Alvestad is a full-time artist based in Norway. Her practice moves between photography, painting and digital work. It began in 2007. A recurring theme is the human, the vulnerable, and the inner world. She is not interested in one medium as a destination. Photographs can become digital work. A painting can stay as paint, or meet the digital later. What she returns to is looking: what we face, what we feel, and what we cannot quite name.
